Follifoot Park Riding Centre

horseriding centreThe riding centre offers stabling for your own horse, lessons for children and adults, training courses, pony days, children’s holiday activities and riding for the disabled. They have 36 stables including 8 indoor stables, several pony pens, 2 isolation boxes, an indoor arena, paddocks, tack rooms, feed rooms and their own working forge.

Follifoot Cricket Club

cricketThere is an active Cricket Club, situated on Pannal Road. They organise junior and senior matches plus training. They arrange social events throughout the year.

Indoor bowls

This takes place on Tuesday evenings in the Village Hall from 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. from October to May.

Walking

Follifoot is a popular village with local rambling clubs. Permissive footpaths cross the Rudding Estate and link with local villages.

Harrogate Rugby Club

Harrogate Rugby Club have their grounds on Rudding Lane.

Golf

golfRudding Park Golf Club is right next door to the village. There is an 18 hole course, driving range with tuition and a short par 3 course (6 holes), set in parkland and woodland. The courses are designed for experienced golfers and those new to the sport, as stated at https://sportconsultants.co.uk/muga/.

Spofforth and Pannal golf courses are nearby. Spofforth, an attractive parkland pay-and-play course, suits players of all abilities. Pannal is a top class championship course.
