PARISH PLAN 2012 NEWS UPDATE

The results from the Parish Plan Questionnaire undertaken late last year are now available. The Parish Council sincerely thanks all those who participated. A total of 315 forms were returned producing nearly 17,000 pieces of data for analysis which has shown the level of your satisfaction or otherwise with services and facilities within the Parish. Your comments and suggestions were especially helpful to gauge the strength of feeling and aspiration which enabled us to effectively focus on those matters of greatest concern.

Briefly, the analysis shows that providing children’s play/recreation area and improving the Broadband service were particular topics identified as having very high priority in the minds of Parishioners. Your Parish Council supports those findings and recommends them as projects for immediate attention. Of special note was the number of people (80) who volunteered their willingness to be involved in the delivery of projects, and the council would like to express its gratitude to all of them. Sub-groups to action these proposals will be established and volunteers will be contacted with a view to joining the various working groups. The Parish Council will support and monitor the groups’ progress and ensure the community is kept informed.
